  YOUNKIN
  
  Kenneth F. Younkin, 74, of Mercersburg, formerly of Rockwood, died Dec. 16,
  1981, in the Chambersburg Hospital. He was born Dec. 22, 1907, in
  Connellsville, a son of Harvey C. and Georgianna (Moon) Younkin. Survived by
  one son, Donn K. Younkin of Rockwood; one daughter, Mrs. James (Peggy Joy)
  Dile of Mercersburg; one brother, Richard of Orlando, Fla.; one sister, Mrs.
  Raymond (Betty) Sanner, Somerset RD 1; and two grandchildren. Preceded in
  death by his parents, three brothers, and his wife, Josephine (Leaphart)
  Younkin, Dec. 17, 1978. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of
  Rockwood and a retired railroad employee, Friends will be received in the
  William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, from 7-9 p.m. Friday where services
  will be conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Donald Krestar
  officiating. Interment will follow in the Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
