LAVINA YOUNKIN

  Lavina Younkin, aged 78 years, 4 months and 11 days, died at her home on 
Olinger Street, at 12:45 p.m., on Wednesday, August 13, 1941.  Miss Younkin was 
born in Somerset County on April 2, 1863, the daughter of Balaam and Amanda 
(King) Younkin, both of whom were born in Somerset County.  Surviving are two 
sisters, Mrs. Fred J. Fisher, Meyersdale, and Mrs. W. B. Lenhart of Rockwood, 
and one brother, Harry G. Younkin of Confluence.
  Services will be held at the home of Mrs. Fred J. Fisher on Olinger Street, at 
2:30 on Friday afternoon, August 15, 1941.  Interment will be made in Union 
Cemetery under the direction of W. C. Price and Son, local morticians.
