Younkin, 47, died July 16, 1972, in Sarasota, Fla., where he has resided for the past six years. He was a native of Rockwood and had lived in Johnstown before moving to Florida six years ago. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Sarasota BPOE Lodge and was half-owner of Siesta Liquors there. Surviving arc his wife, the former June Felton; two sons, Lloyd C. Younkin 3rd, Tallahassee, Fla.; and Kirby H. Younkin, Sarasota; also two sisters, Mrs. William Hay, West Chester; and Mrs. Carl Hay, Berlin. Funeral service was held Wednesday morning at Roberts Funeral Home in Sarasota, with the Rev. Dean N. Dobson Jr. of the Church of the Palms officiating. Interment in Sarasota Memorial Park.
