  M. EVELYN YOUNKIN
  
    M. Evelyn Younkin, 83, of Grantsville, Md., died March 5, 1996, at Sacred
  Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    Younkin was born Feb. 4, 1913, in Grantsville. She was the daughter of the
  late James and Emma (Cochrane) Younkin.
    She is survived by three brothers: William and John Younkin, both of Akron,
  Ohio; and Robert Younkin, Mesa, Ariz.; and a sister, Charlotte McDermott,
  Centerville, Ohio.
    Younkin was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and the Northern
  Garrett County Republican Women's Club. She was a retired records keeper for
  B. Goodrich Co., Akron, with 41 years of service.
    Friends were received March 7 at the Newman Funeral Home in Grantsville.
  Graveside services were held March 8 at the Grantsville Cemetery. Rev. Lee
  Williams officiated. Interment followed.
