  MAHALA E. YOUNKIN
  
    Mahala Elizabeth Younkin, 76, Markleton RD 1, died June 5, 1981, at home,
    She was born Jan. 28, 1905, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township. She was a
  daughter of the late Samuel and Martha (Firestone) King.
    She is survived by her husband, James A., and the following children:
  Charles, Connellsville; Sara May: Sipesville; Martha Knopsnyder, Somerset;
  Ruth Tressler, Markleton; Mary Jane Pugh, Somerset; Melvin R., Somerset;
  Robert, Rockwood; Paul, Markleton; and Shirley Gonzales, Confluence; 24
  grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; four brothers: Melvin King, Ray King
  and Warren King, all of Markleton; and James King, North Carolina; also 7
  sisters; Alice Miller, Somerset; Ruth Trimpey, Freida Metheney, Mary Trimpey
  and Betty Baker, all of Markleton; Olive Woods, Confluence; and Lola Convay,
  Ohio.
    Friends were received at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where
  services were held with the Rev. Paul Tobias officiating.  Interment, Old
  Bethel cemetery.
