  Mary Gertrude (Cunningham) Younkin, 76, Somerset, died Oct. 12, 1989, at
  Somerset Hospital. Born March 26, 1913, in Charleroi, Pa., daughter of the
  late Fletcher W. and Gertrude Florence (Fleming) Cunningham. Widow of Earl M.
  Younkin. Survived by son, Jack C. Younkin, Elysburg, Pa.; a daughter, Ann Y.
  Antonius, Downingtown, Pa., and a brother, W. R. Cunningham, Johnstown, and
  grandchildren, Jan Salwocki, Milton, Pa.; Liz Younkin, Dallas, Texas; Julie,
  Rob and John Antonius, all of Downingtown, Pa., and great-grandchildren, Eric
  and Laura Salwocki. Graduated from the University of Pennsylvania as a dental
  hygenist. Charter member of the Junior Hospital Auxiliary of Somerset
  Hospital. Board of Directors of Calvary United Methodist Church. Past
  president of Somerset Welfare League. Member of American Legion Auxiliary.
  Board of Directors of Public Assistance, Daughter of the founder of Somerset
  Hospital. Spoke at the dedocation of the Somerset Hospital new wing in
  January 1989. Supervisor to the Department of Public Welfare. A memorial
  service will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at Calvary United
  Methodist Church, with the Rev. Byron Myers officiating. Interment in
  Somerset County Memorial Park under the direction of Wilbur D. Miller Funeral
  Home, Family requests memorial contributions to the Somerset Welfare League,
  P.O. Box 605, Somerset.
