All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ PRUDENCE YOUNKIN Mrs. Warren Younkin, the former Prudence Albright, aged 41, daughter of Mrs. Lucy Albright and the late William Albright, died of pneumonia at her home near Connellsville last Thursday. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon with interment in Hill Grove Cemetery, Connellsville. A little baby born to Mrs. Younkin shortly before her death passed away one half hour before Mrs. Younkin's mother-in-law Mrs. Lucinda Johnson was buried on Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Younkin is survived by her husband and the following children: Betty, Elmer, Ralph, Ruth and Shirley; and three sisters, Mrs. J. C. Schnidle, Mrs. E. E. Hines, and Mrs. J. W. Shaffer, all of Connellsville. Mrs. Younkin was born in Ursina, as was her father. Her mother, Lucy Kelley, was a native of Addison Township, all well known people of the lower end of Somerset County. Meyersdale Republican, March 14, 1940
