  YOUNKIN
  
  Sarah Jane Younkin, 85, of Ursina, died Aug. 19, 1998, at Somerset Hospital.
  She was born May 19, 1913, in Maple Summit. A daughter of the late Nicholas
  A. and Alverda (Thorpe) Knotter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded
  in death by her husband Blair E. Younkin; brothers, John Leroy, Charles,
  Richard and Edward Knotter; and sisters, Florence Geyer, Esther Colflesh and
  Margaret Conn. Survived by two daughters: Janet Conn and Karen Metz, both of
  Confluence, and two sons, Blair F. Jr. of Markleton, and Fred of Confluence;
  12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and one
  great-great-granddaughter. Also a sister, Wilma Deist of Confluence, She was
  a member of the United Community Church of God, Ursina, and W.C.S.C. Friends
  will be received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday (today) and 10 a.m. until 9 p.m.
  Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where services will be held
  1 p.m. Saturday with the Revs. Ron Follett and Nevin Umbel officiating.
  Interment, Ursina Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite
  charity.
