Calvin Younkin, died at 11:30 o'clock Wednesday morning at her home after an illness of several months. Mrs. Younkin was born Nov. 25, 1874, a daughter of the late George and Mary Flanigan. She was united in marriage with Mr. Younkin April 20, 1892, and on April 20, of this year the couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. She was a member of the Methodist church and had been associated with most of the women's organizations in the church. Surviving in addition to her husband are these children: Alfred Younkin of Wadsworth, O., Mrs. Joseph Rogers of Akron, O., Mrs. L. J. Ramsey of Mount Vernon, O., and Russell Younkin of Clairton. She also leaves 11 grandchildren and two brothers, Crampton Flanigan of Beaver and Russell Flanigan of Homestead. The funeral service was held in the Methodist church with Rev. S. L. Burson in charge. Interment was made in the Addison Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, May 28, 1942
