  JOHN S. YOURICH
  
    John S. Yourich, 70, Hollsopple RD 3, died Jan. 31, 1983, at Memorial
  Hospital, Johnstown.
    He was born May 10, 1912, in Czechoslovakia, son of Andrew and Anna
  Yourich. He was preceded in death by parents, one granddaughter, one
  grandson, one sister and one brother.
    He is survived by his widow, the former Mary Byers; and these children:
  Mary Jane, wife of John Garrety, Berlin RD 3; Shirley, wife of John
  Kornprobst, Scalp Level; Joann Oldham and Gerald, married to former Rose
  Studniary, both of Windber; John W., married to former Phyllis Reffner,
  Hollsopple RD 1; Gloria Hause, Stoystown RD 2; Jack, married to former Rhonda
  Sturtz, Hollsopple RD 3; 23 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was
  the brother of: Mary Laboski, New York City; Elizabeth Maurizo and Joseph,
  both of Windber; Alax, Alabama; Steve, George and Thomas, all of Ohio.
    He was a member of UMW of A 1040 of Johnstown; retired from Bird Coal
  Company. Death breaks a marriage union of 48 years.
    Friends were received 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the George E. Mason Funeral
  Home, Davidsville, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m.
  Thursday with the Rev. Marvin Kaufman officiating. Interment, Blough
  Mennonite Cemetery.
    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carpenters Park Mennonite
  Church Building Fund.
