Yutzey, 40, Box 16, Riddlesburg, Pa., was pronounced dead on arrival at Bedford County Memorial Hospital, 6:20 a.m. Aug. 9. His death was unexpected. He was born Dec. 7, 1948, in Meyersdale, son of W. Leroy and Shirley (Ross) Yutzey. He is survived by his parents, of Meyersdale, and his wife, Nancy Glessner, whom he married May 26, 1968. Also survived by children Roger A. Yutzey Jr. and Karen L. Yutzey, both at home, and brothers Gregory L. Yutzey, Dubois, and Fred L. Yutzey, Meyersdale, He was a 1967 graduate of Meyersdale High School, a member Raven Run Church of the Brethren, Saxton RD, and the Hopewell Sportsmen's Club. For the past 16 years he was employed in the meat department at Dixon's Riverside in Saxton, and for the past several years was department manager. Funeral services are 2:30 p.m. Friday Aug. 11, in the Masood Funeral Chapel, D. Ronald Long F. D., Saxton, with the Rev. Harry Paterson officiating. Interment, St. Luke's Cemetery, Saxton RD. Friends received at the funeral chapel 7-9 p.m. Thursday and Friday until the hour of the service. Family has requested memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.
