BERTHA YUTZY Mrs. Bertha May Yutzy; 76, Garrett RD 1, died July 1 in her residence. Born May 12, 1891, in Jefferson township; she was a daughter of the late Isaiah and Susan (Schrock) Crise. Surviving are her husband, Norman R. Yutzy and eight children: Theodore G., Garrett RD 1; Mrs. William Bell, George and Hubert D. Yutzy, all of Baltimore; Mrs. Norman Koontz, Somerset; Mrs. James C. Davis, Roanoke, Va.; Roy Yutzy, Gulfport, Miss.; and Mrs. Guy Imhoff, Meyersdale. There are 27 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Yutzy was preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth J. and Norman W. Yutzy, both killed in World War II, and by three brothers and three sisters. She was a member of the Somerset Church of God and the Auxiliary of the Norman W. Yutzy Post, American Legion, Garrett. Her death ends a marriage union of 58 years. Funeral service was held at the Hauger Funeral Home, Somerset, on Tuesday morning, with Rev. Neil Stone officiating. Interment.... Meyersdale Republican, July 5, 1967
