He was born Dec. 22, 1864, the son of JoelM. and Lydia Hochstetler Yutzy. He is survived by his wife, Anna Durr Yutzy, three sons, Elmer, Frostburg R.D. 2; John L., Meyersdale R.D. 3, and Lloyd, Hibbs, Pa.; and two daughters, Mrs. Harry Landis, Williamson, W.Va., and Mrs. Mary Garlitz, Meyersdale. One sister, Mrs. A. E. Baer, Pocahontas, 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were held at the Hochstetler Church, Greenville Township, on Wednesday, Sept. 8, with Rev. A. J. Replogle of Salisbury officiating, assisted by Rev. J. E. Gindlesperger. W. C. Price, Meyersdale mortician, had charge of funeral arrangements. Interment was made in the Hochstetler cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, September 16, 1943
