YUTZY

Ilse Gertrude Yutzy, 78, of 176 King St., Springs died Dec. 5, 2000, at 
Meyersdale Medical Center, Meyersdale. Born Feb. 22, 1922 in St. Goartshausen, 
Germany, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Gertrude Wiemert. Mrs. Yutzy 
was a member of the Church of the Redeemer, Grantsville, Md. and was a 
homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Scott G. Yutzy, three sons, Rudolph 
R. Yutzy, Fayetteville, N.C.; Scott P. Yutzy and Robert A. Yutzy, both of 
Springs; two daughters, Trudy Hutzel, Salisbury, and Heidi M. Davis, Cumberland, 
Md.; two brothers, Richard and Hans Weimert, both of Hanau, Germany; six 
grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2-4 
and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, Md. where 
service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Rev. Dale Curtis officiating. 
Interment, Springs Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed in care of 
the family.
