LEROY YUTZY

  Leroy Yutzy, 68, of Garrett, died Sept. 17, 1975, at his home. Born Nov. 26, 
1906, he was a son of the late William and Louise (Romesberg) Yutzy. He was 
preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
  Surviving are his wife, the former Lois Shaefer, and these children: Mrs. 
Lavona Bailey, Somerset; Lonnie Keith, Garrett; and Mrs. Lorrie Shipley, 
Norristown. He was a brother of William Jr. Yutzy, Boynton; Henry, Cumberland, 
Md.; Mrs. Emma Strickland, Indiana, Pa.; Mrs. Christina Hammer and Mrs. Flora 
Crissell, both of Fayetteville, N.C. Also surviving are a number of nieces and 
nephews.
  Mr. Yutzy was a member of the Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church in Garrett and an 
active member of Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church for the deaf in Jennerstown.
  Funeral service was held Saturday afternoon in Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church with 
Rev. J. David Menchhofer, Rev. Jesse E. Wolfe and Thomas Moog officiating. 
Interment in Highland Cemetery, Garrett, under the direction of Johnson Funeral 
Home, Berlin.
