The Somerset herald. (Somerset, Pa.): March 02, 1892
Died at his home near the Will's Church, on Friday, February 19, 1892, Father Jacob
Zigler, aged 79 years, 11 months and 12 days. The deceased was a good citizen, a
kind father, and a member in good and regular standing in the Evangelical Lutheran
Church from the day of his young manhood. He was the father of eight children, five
of whom are living and three dead. Also, 36 grandchildren and 26 great
grandchildren. The esteem in which he was held was attested by the large number of
people in attendance upon the funeral obsequies.
