Zablotney, 90, Windber, formerly of Boswell, died June 10, 2006, at Windber Medical Center. Born Jan. 9, 1916, in Jenners, son of Lawrence and Caroline (Gebalik) Zablotney. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Josephine Novak, on July 26, 1997; daughter, Victoria Lee Klink; granddaughter, Angela Marie Zablotney; brothers, Stanley, John and Walter; and sisters, Ann Wiencek and Julia Fisher. Survived by sons, Edward F, married to the former Regina Stetz, with whom Frank resided; and Raymond F., Boswell; grandchildren, Marsha, Jason and Barbara Zablotney; and Douglas and Bradley Klink; brother, Joseph "Blackie," married to the former Betty Rice, Boswell; son-in-law, Larry Klink, Marietta, Ga.; brother-in-law, Michael Andrew Novak, married to the former Flora Mae Campbell, Boswell; sister-in-law, Katherine Novak, Boswell; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graduate of the former Boswell High School. While he was still in high school, he worked as a coalminer and eventually became a partner in the former Z and P Coal Co. He also ran a bicycle repair shop from his home and along with his wife, operated Vicky's Ceramic Shop for over 30 years. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish and UMWA. He enjoyed fishing, listening to polka music and hand crafting violins. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Main Street, Boswell, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 4p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at All Saints Church, Boswell. The Rev. Father Justin A. Ratajczak, OFM, Conv., celebrant. Committal, St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
