Zablotney, 32, of 613 Ruth Ave., Erie, formerly of Boswell, died accidentally the morning of May 17, 1983 at home. Born Dec. 17, 1950, in Johnstown, son of Joseph S. and Betty O. (Rice) Zablotney. Preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Jacob E. Rice; paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Caroline Zablotney. Survived by parents, Boswell; sister, Diane, wife of Charles Pugh, Champion RD 1; Cheryl, at home; maternal grandmother, Josephine Rice, Boswell; niece, Ladawn Pugh. Formerly attended Boswell Church of the Nazarene, graduate M. E. B. A. Engineering School, Baltimore, Md., operating supervisor for Penelec Front Street Station, Erie, 1968 graduate of former Jenner-Boswell High School. Friends received 7-9 p.m. Thursday, 2-4, and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, and from 10 am. Saturday until time of service at 11 a.m. at the Boswell Nazarene Church, Pastor Arthur Roxby officiating. Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery. No viewing at the church. Daily American, May 19, 1983
