Born Dec. 22, 1946, in Pittsburgh, the son of John Jacob and Cecilia (Kelic) Zaborowski II. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Bobbie Lee Haswell, who died Aug. 23, 2003; and brothers, Lawrence and Robert Zaborowski. Survived by son, John Joseph Zaborowski, Pittsburgh; and granddaughter, Noel Zaborowski-Marchese. Also survived by brothers, Daniel Zaborowski, Kenneth Zaborowski and sister, Mrs. Joyce McManus, all of Pittsburgh. A 1963 graduate of Schenley High School, decorated combat wounded U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam. Worked as a baker for the Nabisco Co. in Pittsburgh with 30 years of service. Member of American Legion Post 181, FOE Aerie 1801 and a lifetime member of VFW Post 554. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peter' s Catholic Church. Monsignor Samuel J. Tomaselli Celebrant. Committal, Casebeer Cemetery.
