Zakucia, 80, Meyersdale, died Oct. 15, 1997, in Conemaugh Medical Center. Born April 28, 1917, in Windber, a son of the late John and Mary (Solar) Zakucia. Survived by widow, Irene (Chrissinger) Mostoller Zakucia; children: Robert Mostoller of Brewster, Ohio; Clyde Mostoller of Garrett, Joanna Miller of Barberton, Ohio; 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. A member of the Hostetler Church of the Brethren. A veteran of World War II, where he received the Bronze Star. Retired custodian in the Meyersdale Area School System. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Leckemby Funeral Home. The body will be taken to the Hostetler Church of the Brethren Friday to lie in state from 1 to 2 p.m., the time of the service, with Pastor William Davis officiating. Interment, Hostetler Cemetery.
