  MABEL R. ZAMBANINI 
  
  Mabel R. Zambanini, 94, Somerset, died Sept. 26, 2006, at The Patriot.  Born May 
  9, 1912, in Somerset County, she is the daughter of the late Charles and Susan 
  (Bittner) Lape.  Also preceded in death by husband, Emil Zambanini; daughter, 
  Eileen Scheffler; brother, Harvey Lape; and sisters, Elizabeth Griffith, Pauline 
  Awtey, Margaret Shaulis and Pearl Griffith.  Survived by a niece, Susan 
  Zambanini, numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and a special niece, Colby 
  Kovach.  Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, the time of 
  service, in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.  The Rev. Brenda Shaffer 
  officiating.  Interment in Casebeer Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to the 
  Sipesville Volunteer Fire Co., P.O. Box 161, Sipesville, PA 15561.
