Catherine (Pluta) Zambrzicky, 100, Boswell (Jenner Township), died Jan. 25, 
2007, at home. Born Sept. 1, 1906, in Boswell, daughter of John and Dorothy 
(Bunk) Pluta. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Kaetan, on Sept. 20, 1974; 
infant daughter, Gladys; daughter, Alphona Swick; several infant sisters; 
sisters, Anna, Victoria, Frances, Blanche and Nellie; brothers, John, Charles, 
Steve, Thomas and Joseph; and daughter-in-law, Nellie (Kubas) Zambrzicky. 
Survived by sons, Adolph, Florida; and Theodore, married to the former Suzanne 
Haft, Las Vegas; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-
grandchildren and nieces and nephews; and son-in-law, Joseph Swick, Staten 
Island, N.Y. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish. Viewing from 5 to 8 p.m. 
Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, 
where vigil for the deceased will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Mass at 1 
p.m. Monday at All Saints Church, Boswell. The Rev. Father Justin A. Ratajczak, 
OFM, Conv., celebrant. Committal, Mount Carmel Cemetery.
