  Ethel M. Zarefoss, 98, Richmond, Va., formerly of Cumberland, Md. and Stoystown, 
  died Feb. 1, 2000, in Richmond. Born July 29, 1901, in Quemahoning Township, 
  daughter of Henry A. and Harriet B. (Coleman) Custer.  Preceded in death by 
  parents; husband, Robert E., and sons, Robert P. and Franklin. Survived by: 
  children, Evelyn Schrock, Geistown, and James H., Richmond; 10 grandchildren, 12 
  great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.  Life-member of Mostoller United 
  Methodist Church.  Family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Thursday and from 
  10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, with 
  the Rev. William Blair officiating. Interment Odd-Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
