  ZAREFOSS
  
  Robert E. Zarefoss, 75, of Stoystown RD 3, died Jan. 18, 1975 in Somerset 
  Community Hospital.  Born Dec. 28, 1899, in Somerset, son of Amos and Maggie 
  (Keller) Zarefoss. Preceded in death by his parents; son, Franklin; an infant 
  son;  a granddaughter; four brothers and one sister. Survived by his widow, the 
  former Ethel Custer; and these children: Robert P. of Altoona, Mrs. Blair 
  (Evelyn) Schrock of Johnstown; James of Midlothian, Va.; 10 grandchildren; and 
  one great-grandson.  Member for 60 years of the Mostoller United Methodist 
  Church were he served in many capacities.  Death ends a marriage union of 55 
  years. Retired coal miner and member of Jenner Local 1742 UMWA.  Played baseball 
  in the Oldtime County League and was a member of the Somerset County Oldtimers.  
  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday and until noon Tuesday 
  in the Charles R. Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Remains will be removed to 
  Mostoller United Methodist Church to lie in state from 1 p.m. until service at 2 
  p.m. Tuesday, Rev. J. Wesley Spahn officiating.  Interment, Odd Fellows 
  Cemetery, Stoystown.
