Zborovancik, 67, Friedens, RD 1, died Dec. 8, 1986, at Lee Hospital, Johnstown. Born March 24, 1919, in Hooversville, a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Matse) Zborovancik. Survived by his wife, the former Helen Svonavec, and these children: Mrs. David E. (Joyce) Walker of Somerset RD 2; John J., Friedens RD 1; and Joseph of Freehold, N.J.; also five grandchildren; these brothers and sisters: George and Joseph, both of Windber; Frank of Central City; Steve and Paul, both of Hooversville; Michael of Stoystown; Mrs. Susan Hudak of Windber; Mrs. Matilda Potochar of Hooversville; Mrs. Andrew (Ann) Ferko of Central City; Mrs. Andrew (Margaret) Matey of Hooversville; Mrs. Lloyd (Barbara) Manges Jr., of Hollsopple; and Mrs. Thomas (Josephine) Kounas of Mechanicsburg. Member of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church of Listle and a partner in Svonavec Coal, Inc. A veteran of World War II. Friends were received 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church with the Rev. Samuel Tomaselli officiating. Interment, Listie Catholic Cemetery. Rosary will be conducted 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Daily American, December 10, 1986
