  ZEARFOSS
  
  Helen L. Zearfoss, 78, of Somerset, passed on April 12, 2003 at her home.  Born 
  Feb. 15, 1925 in Somerset, the daughter of Ralston and Margaret (Shupe) Whipkey.  
  Preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1986.  Survived by her sons, Greg of 
  Atlanta, Ga., and Brad, married to Debra of Shanksville; grandchildren, Sean, 
  Kellie Jo, Ryan and Lara Zearfoss and great-granddaughter Ashley Crowe.  She was 
  a retired nurse who did volunteer work for the Red Cross and wrote articles for 
  the Daily American on local history.  She was also involved with the local RSVP 
  program.  She was a member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ in 
  Somerset.  A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Union Cemetery 
  in New Centerville with Rev. James Hughes officiating.  Memorial contributions 
  may be made to In Touch Hospice, 1590 N. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
