    Jacqueline Shaffer Zearfoss, 58, East Main Street, Somerset, died Oct 2, 1989, 
  in her home.  Born May 16, 1931, in Somerset, daughter of the late Hubert F. and 
  Helen (Weaver) Shaffer.  Survived by husband, Robert, and these children:  Sgt. 
  Kerry Schilling, U.S. Air Force, Korea; Barbara Gnagey, Meyersdale; Lugene 
  Popernack, Sue Brubaker and Louann Griffith, all of Somerset; 7 grandchildren; 
  four brothers and sisters, Hubert E. Shaffer, Quecreek; Rachel Brown, Newton 
  Falls, Ohio; Molly Trilli, Ravenna, Ohio; David Shaffer, Louisiana; Judith 
  Vasko, Euchlid, Ohio; Larry Shaffer, Pontiac, Ill.; Richard Shaffer, Brunswick, 
  Ohio; and Sharon Tabor, Menominee, Mich.  Formerly operated Jackie's Store in 
  Meyersdale.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in Robert H. Halverson 
  Funeral Home, where service will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m., Rev. Albert G. 
  Valentine officiating.  Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
