  Bernice S. Zehner, 72, of Somerset RD 7 died Jan 12, 1990, at her residence. 
  Born Nov. 5, 1917, in Accident, Md., daughter of the late William Asa and Clara 
  (Broadwater) Speicher.  Preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. 
  Survived by husband of 51 years, Floyd H., and sons, John E., married to the 
  former Winona Bassett of Somerset RD 7, and Dr. James M. married to former Janet 
  Waller, Titusville; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Member of 
  Midway Homemakers and Somerset Church of the Brethren where she served as a 
  deaconess.  Friends were received Sunday and will be received until 11:45 a.m. 
  today at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home.  Service will be held at 1 p.m. today 
  at the Somerset Church of the Brethren, the Rev. Roger Forry officiating. 
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  Viewing of the remains one hour prior 
  to the service.
