Edna Frances Zehner, 86, Somerset, died Nov. 4, 2007, at The Patriot. Born Feb. 
18, 1921, in Selbeysport, Md., the daughter of Earl and Barbara (Miller) Bowser. 
Preceded in death by parents; husband, Frank Kenneth Zehner, who died Feb. 5, 
1985; a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Sanner; sisters, Mildred Bowser and Agnes 
Handwerk. Survived by daughter, Mrs. Robert G. (JoAnn) Shaulis, Somerset; 
granddaughters, Mrs. Kelly (Marilyn) Amos, Painesville, Ohio; Pamela Shaulis, 
Pittsburgh; great-grandchildren, Jason and James Sanner, Mrs. Joshua (Jessica) 
Davidson and Whitney Charlton; sister, Mabel Fike, Accident, Md. Member of 
Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church. Edna also was an accomplished seamstress, she 
enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. 
Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, and one hour prior to the 
service at the church, which will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Dennis 
L. Doebler officiating. Interment, Casebeer Cemetery. Memorial contributions may 
given to Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church, 10377 Somerset Pike, Somerset, PA
