Zehner, 86, Zehner Road, Somerset, died Oct. 10, 1998, in Somerset Hospital. Born Jan. 19, 1912 in Medina, Ohio, son of the late Charles and Pearl (Cramer) Zehner. Preceded in death by parents, stepfather, Harry Maurer, first wife, the former Bernice Speicher; brother, Frank Zehner and stepbrother, George Maurer. Survived by wife, the former Emma Will Reiman; children, John, married to Winona Bassett, Somerset; and Dr. James married to Dr. Janet Waller, Titusville; stepson, John Reiman, Somerset; grandchildren, Craig, Kevin, Kenneth Rebecca, Elizabeth, Sarah, and David Zehner; step grandson, Michael Reiman and step granddaughter, Noel Daugherty; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Robert Zehner of Confluence; sister, Mrs. Robert (Alverta) Dronenburg of Rockville, Md.; sister-in-law, Edna Zehner, Somerset. Member of Somerset Church of the Brethren where he served as deacon. Retired local dairy farmer and egg producer; served on Somerset County ASCS for 39 years. Member of PA. Farm Bureau. Was Somerset Township auditor for more than 40 years, founder of Zehnerville. He was an avid gardener. Friends will be received form 7-9 p.m., Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. Funeral service will be conduced at 11 a.m., Wednesday at Somerset Church of the Brethren, where family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Rev. Roger Forty officiating.
