ZEIGLER

  Hazel V. Zeigler, 87, of Berlin, formerly of Shanksville, 
died July 5, 1994, at Meyersdale Medical Center. Born March 24, 1907. 
Daughter of Harvey and Kathryn (Boger) Beal. Preceded in death by parents; 
husband, Fred, Sr.; brother, Jack; sister, Lydia Logsdon; grandson, 
Robert Paul Zeigler. Survived by these children: Fred Jr., married to the 
former Delores Keightley, of Uniontown; Jean married to Robert 
Hockensmith, Hagerstown, Md., and Donald "Goose," married to the former Marian 
Good, of Berlin. Ten grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. 
Sisters-in-law Ruth Walker and Ruth Beal. Retired from Snyder of Berlin. Family 
will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner 
Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, the 
Rev. Bernard Coates officiating. Interment, Lambertsville Cemetery. 
Memorial contributions may be given to Berlin Historical Society, Berlin, Pa.
