"BILL" ZEIGLER Mervin J. "Bill" Zeigler, 81, Buckstown Road, Stoystown died June 21, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Sept. 19, 1924, in Stonycreek Township son of the late Paul "Cooney" and Alverta (Miller) Zeigler. Survived by his wife of 61 years the former Katherine Leah Frazier; children: Bradley Mervin Zeigler, and Jerry Lee Zeigler and wife Barbara all of Somerset, Katherine Leah Zeigler of Duncansville, Linda Lou married to Lawrence Krupnik of McLean, Va., Robert Paul Zeigler of Berlin, and Michaella married to Dean Zolla of Friedens; grandchildren: Michael, Joseph, Shaun, and Bryana Zeigler, and Alexandra Krupnik; and great-grandchildren: Tony, Angie, and Andrew Zolla, Austin and Allie Zeigler. Brother of Betty Armagost of Fla., Ray Zeigler of Somerset, Virginia Shultz of Berlin, Ronald Zeigler of Boynton, and Marsha Boozer of Central City. He was a 1942 graduate of Shanksville-Stonycreek High School and a World War II Army Veteran. He retired from P.B.S. Coals. Member of Shanksville United Methodist Church, Shanksville American Legion Post 911, and Silver and Gold Senior Citizens. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown where service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday. Rev. Randy Newell officiating.
