    Paul J. (Cooney) Zeigler, 84, Stoystown RD 3, died March 12, 1988, at 
  Siemon Lakeview Manor Estates. Born Aug. 8, 1903, in Stoneycreek 
  Township, son of the late Edward and Alberta (Shank) Zeigler. Preceded in 
  death by parents, and sister, Zella Sivits. Survived by his wife of 64 
  years, the former Alverta Miller, and these children: Mrs. Charles (Betty) 
  Armagost, Hooversville; Mervin, married to Katherine Frazier, Stoystown 
  RD 3; Ray married to Miriam Holt, Somerset; Virginia Shultz, Berlin RD 
  1; Ronald, married to Gay Stroup, Boynton; and Mrs. James (Marsha) 
  Boozer, Central City RD 1; 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a 
  great-great-grandson. Brother of Mervin, Chicago, Il. He retired after 
  45 years as a driver for Poorbaugh Lumber Co., Buckstown. Family will 
  receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, 
  Stoystown, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. 
  Robert R. Slack officiating. Interment Lambertsville Cemetery.
