He was born March 20, 1929, in Donegal son of the late Alex D. and Helen Burdza Zelenske. Prior to retirement, he was self- employed as a truck driver and was the former owner of the Ponderosa Restaurant & Bar, Acme. He was a tour bus driver for Central Cab of Waynesburg. Member of St. Raymond of the Mountains Catholic Church, Donegal and Moose Lodge 973 of Somerset. Veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Peiffer Weaver Zelenske. He is survived by a friend: Chris Coleman of Donegal; a brother, Samuel J. Zelenske of Jones Mills; 2 sisters; Mrs. Joseph (Janet) Coppolino of Saginaw, Mich., Mrs. Patsy (Lorraine) DePalma of Mount Pleasant; step-daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Marlene) Kalp, and a grandson, David Kalp, both of Donegal, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from noon to 9 p.m. Friday at the Snyder-Brown Funeral Home, Donegal. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Raymond's Church. Interment, St. Raymond Cemetery.
