  ZERFOSS
  
  Mrs. Bessie Elizabeth Zerfoss, 82, of Friedens RD 1, died Jan. 19, 1979, at 
  Somerset Community Hospital.  She was born Oct. 28, 1896, in Clearfield County, 
  a daughter of the late Alexander and Ellen (Dunn) Roberts.  She was preceded in 
  death by her husband, Frank Harrison Zerfoss; a daughter, Bernice; three 
  sisters; and one brother.  Survived by a son Bert, of Friedens RD 1; four 
  grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.  She was a sister of Mrs. Mary Baker 
  of Somerset Rd.5; Mrs. Arlene Riley of Somerset; Mrs. Bernard (Genevieve) Nisman 
  of Ventne, N.J. Member of the Listie Brethren Church.  Friends will be received 
  after 7 p.m. today, Tuesday, at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where 
  services will be conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m., the Rev. Herman Pickles 
  officiating.  Internment Somerset Memorial Park.
