  ZERFOSS
  
  Delbert E. Zerfoss, 48, Friedens RD 1, died June 11, 1986, of injuries in a 
  state turnpike accident. He was born Nov. 8, 1937, in Somerset, a son of Morton 
  and Susan (Dickey) Zerfoss.  Preceded in death by a brother, Hilton, and an 
  infant sister. Survived by his wife, the former Joyce Custer; stepchildren, 
  Gretchen and Craig; and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Joe (Ruby) Wilson, 
  Witcherville, Ark.; Orlo, Somerset RD 5; Mrs. William (Jean) Dively, Berlin; 
  Mrs. James (Shirley) Buchkoski, Ebensburg; Leo, Friedens RD 2; and Jay, 
  Stoystown RD 3. A member of the Faith Lutheran Church and veteran of the Vietnam 
  Conflict. He worked 19 years in the Turnpike Commission's maintenance 
  department. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Wilbur D. 
  Miller Funeral Home. A private service will be held at the family's convenience.  
  Internment, Mizpah Cemetery.
