  ZERFOSS
  
  Eugene E. Zerfoss, formerly of Conneaut Lake and Somerset, and a native of 
  Indiana, died Jan. 7, 1999 in Orlando, Fla., at age 77.  He was a graduate of 
  Indiana University of Pennsylvania and had taught high school, and sold 
  insurance and operated a store.  Survivors are his wife of 48 years, Joan 
  (Zellem) Zerfoss; and four daughters; Judy McFadden, Boston, Nancy O'Neill, 
  Erie, and Jill Grim and Melody Horgan of Orlando and a son, Eugene Zerfoss Jr. 
  of Orlando; also six grandchildren. Preceded in death by a granddaughter, 
  Chelsey O'Neill. Memorials may be made to the Kinaman Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 
  3747, Erie, Pa., 16509, c/o M. Cochran.
