  ZERFOSS
  
    Hilton M. Zerfoss, 59, Friedens RD 2, died Jan. 9, 1984 in Somerset Community 
  Hospital.
    He was born Aug. 1, 1924 in Somerset Township, son of late Martin McKinley and 
  Susan (Dickey) Zerfoss. 
    He was preceded in death by an infant sister.
    He is survived by wife, former Phyllis Foster; daughter Joeleen, at home; and 
  these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Joe Wilson Jr., Huntington, Ark.; Mrs. William 
  Dively, Berlin; Mrs. James Buchoski, Ebensburg; Delbert, Stoystown; Jay, 
  Stoystown RD 3; Orlo, Somerset RD 2; and Leo, Friedens RD 2.
    He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church; veteran of World War II, having 
  served with 307th Airborne.
    Friends are being received in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.  Funeral 
  services will be conducted Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, the 
  Rev. Charles J. Hartbauer officiating.  Internment, church cemetery.  Body will 
  lie in state in church from 9:30 a.m. until hour of service.  In lieu of 
  flowers, memorials may be made in care of family.
