  MRS. IRENE ZERFOSS
  
  Mrs. Irene Zerfoss, 57, Somerset RD 8, died May 22, 1977, Somerset 
  Community Hospital.  She was born May 21, 1920, in Somerset, daughter of 
  Albert B. and Pearl (Griffith) Close.  She was preceded in death by her 
  parents and husband, Galen R.  She is survived by a brother Fred Close, 
  Somerset, and two sisters, Alberta, wife of Harrison Queer, Butte, 
  Mont., and Peggy Ann, wife of John Williams, Chattanooga, Tenn.; and a 
  half-brother Clarence Coddington, Somerset.  She was a member of Somerset 
  VFW auxiliary.[sic]  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Monday in 
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be conducted 
  Wednesday at 10 a.m., the Rev. Cliff Wicks, officiating.  Interment, Somerset 
  County Memorial Park.
