  MORTON M. ZERFOSS
  
  Morton M. Zerfoss, 78, of Friedens RD 2, died March 2, 1979, at the 
  home of his son, Leo.  Born Nov. 18, 1900, in Stonycreek Township, son of 
  Patterson and Arizona Zerfoss.  Preceded in death by parents; wife, the 
  former Susan Dickey; daughter, Thelma; brother and four sisters.  
  Survived by these children: Mrs. Joseph (Ruby) Wilson, Huntingdon, Ark.; 
  Hilton, Delbert, and Leo, all of Friedens RD 2; Orlo, Somerset RD 7; Mrs. 
  William (Jean) Dively, Berlin; Mrs. James (Shirley) Buchkoski, 
  Ebensburg; and Jay of Stoystown RD 3; also 13 grandchildren.  Retired coal 
  miner and PennDot employee.  Member of Faith Lutheran Church.  Family will 
  receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 
  p.m. Sunday in the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be 
  conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Charles J. Hartbauer officiating.  
  Interment, Mizpah Cemetery.
