  Robert L. "Pete" Zerfoss, 52, Berlin RD 3 (New Baltimore), died Dec. 
  31, 1996, at home.  Born March 24, 1944, in Stonycreek Township, son of 
  the late Charles J. and Nellie K. (Shroyer) Zerfoss.  Survived by 
  children: Robert L. Jr., Jaimie L., married to the former Pammie S. Shaulis, 
  and Jill L., married to David E. Wilson, all of Berlin; grandchildren: 
  Lauren Cayce, Sara, Brittany, Dillon and Brooke.  Brother of Clyde, 
  Stoystown; Betty Hager, East Liverpool, Ohio; Mary Garland, Westminster, 
  Md.; Anna Yoder, Akron, Ohio; Charles, Bellaire, Ohio; Patty Custer, 
  Nancy Rubright, Clarence, Susan Snyder, and Jerry, all of Berlin; Bill, 
  Meyersdale, and Sally Krepelka, Parma, Ohio.  Member of Trinity U.C.C., 
  Berlin.  Member and 10 year president of the New Baltimore Sportsmen's 
  Club, and member of F.O.E. Aerie 1801 Somerset.  Family will receive 
  friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday 
  at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. 
  Saturday, with the Rev. Carl W. Schwarm officiating.  Interment, Sarver 
  Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart 
  Assn.
