  ZIMMERMAN

  Elwood R Zimmerman, 71, Friedens RD 2, died May 30, 1989, at Shadyside Hospital, 
  Pittsburgh. Born Dec 9, 1917 in Quemahoning Township, son of Rueben and Annie 
  (Barron) Zimmerman. Preceded in death by parents, infant grandson, Bret Charles 
  Miller, brothers, Merle and Paul, and sisters, Violet Stutzman and Mabel. 
  Survived by wife of 43 years, the former Marian Ware; and these children, Mrs. 
  Charles T. (Sue Ann) Miller, Hooversville RD 1, and Bradley, married to former 
  Kathleen Weyand, Stoystown; and granddaughter, Shasta Ann Miller. Brother of 
  Hard R., Friedens RD 2, Marian Kimmel, Stoystown RD 3, and Emma McKinley, 
  Rockville, Md. Retired from O.D. Barnett and Sons, Boswell. Member of Friedens 
  Lutheran Church. Family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Wednesday and 2-4 and 
  7-9 pm Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be held 
  at 1pm Friday. Rev. James R Ling officiating. Interment Oddfellows Cemetery, 
  Stoystown.
