  ZIMMERMAN

  Gladys M. Zimmerman, 80, Stoystown, died March 25, 1985, at home.  Born Jan. 
  24, 1905, in Shade Township, daughter of late Lottie Specht.  Also preceded 
  in death by her husband, Guy E., and brother, Paul Specht.  Survived by 
  these children: Thomas M., married to former Joy Zimmerman, Stoystown; Mrs. 
  Cletus (Verna) Pile, Greencastle; also eight grandchildren and 13 
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Morris Specht, married to former Claire 
  Rayman, Indiana, Pa.; and Dorothy Beveridge, Port Charlotte, Fla. Member of 
  Kantner United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School for several 
  years, and Forbes Area Senior Citizens.  Family will receive friends from 
  7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, 
  Stoystown.  Remains will be moved to Kantner United Methodist Church to lie 
  in state from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. J. 
  Wesley Spahn officiating.  Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.  If 
  friends desire, instead of flowers, contributions may be made to American 
  Heart Association or Kantner United Methodist Church.
