  ZIMMERMAN

  Ira L. Zimmerman, 77, of Central City, died Oct. 4, 1974 in Windber 
  Hospital.  Born April 29, 1897 in Shade Township, son of the late J. Elmer 
  and Cora Pebley Zimmerman. Preceded in death by brothers, Guy E. and Ray D.
  Survived by his widow the former Olive Ankeny and these children: Ila, wife 
  of Richard McQuade of Stoystown RD 3; Lloyd of Central City RD 1; and Roy of 
  Fuslton, Md.  Also by 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A brother 
  of Mrs. Rhea Cassidy of Stoystown RD 3 and Edna, wife of Stewart Wagner of 
  Berlin RD 1.  A member of the United Methodist Church, Central City.  Was a 
  retired employee of the Loyalhanna Coal Co. and a veteran of World War I. 
  His death ended a marriage union of 56 years.  Friends received after 7 p.m. 
  Saturday and after 2 p.m. Sunday in the Charles E. Brumbaugh Funeral Home, 
  Central City where services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday with the Rev. 
  Marlin A. Miller officiating.  Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
