  ZIMMERMAN
  
  Kenneth G. Zimmerman, 64, of Sipesville, died Aug. 21, 1982, in Somerset 
  Community Hospital.  Born Jan. 29, 1918, in Sipesville, son of Stewart and 
  Nan (Bittner) Zimmerman.  Preceded in death by parents.  Survived by his 
  wife, Myrtle Shaffer; and one daughter, Susan, at home.  Member of Christ 
  Casebeer Lutheran Church, and Crusaders Sunday School Class.  Life-member 
  and past officer of the Sipesville Volunteer Fire Department; past officer 
  of the Somerset County Firemen's Association; and representative to the 
  Western Pennsylvania Firemen's Association.  Member of the Sipesville Lions 
  Club.  Friends are being received at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.  
  Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Christ Casebeer 
  Lutheran Church, with the Rev. George Walton officiating.  Interment, church 
  cemetery.  Body will lie in state in church from 10 a.m. until hour of 
  service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung 
  Association.
