She was born April 1, 1892, and at the time of death was aged 53 years, 8 months and 13 days. She was the daughter of W. E. Zimmerman of Uniontown and Mrs. Emma (Coughenour) Zimmerman, deceased. Her mother died when she was 12 years old. Her aunts, Miss Mayme Zimmerman and Miss Jane Zimmerman took her to rear. She lived with them until the time of her death. She leaves behind to mourn her passing, her father, her aunts, Mayme and Jane; her uncle, Harvey, all of Ursina; one sister, Ida McClintock, of Dickerson Run, Pa., and a cousin, whom she took to rear, Mary Ellen Naugle. A brother, Archie F. Zimmerman, is deceased. Miss Zimmerman was a graduate of the Pennsylvania State College, received both the A. B. and A. M. degrees from that institution. She taught school for over 35 years, 20 years of which were spent as an instructor in the Connellsville High School. At the time of her death she was superintendent of the Ursina Lutheran Sunday School and a member of the church council. The funeral service was held at her late home in Ursina, her pastor, Rev. Jerome V. Guss, officiating. Interment was made in the Ursina Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, December 20, 1945
