(Wisler) Zimmerman, 98, of Salisbury died Feb. 28, 2000 at her home. She was born June 19, 1901 in Elk Lick Township, a daughter of the late John and Minerva (Spangler) Wisler. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman L. Zimmerman and these children, Jean (Zimmerman) Kemp, Max W. and Kenneth E. Zimmerman, and a grandchild Dale R. Zimmerman. She is survived by two sons, John H. married to Bernice (Schardt) and Robert C. married to Margaret (Kimble), both of Salisbury. Nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and three great- great-grandchildren. A sister Velma Zimmerman of Meyersdale and brother George Wisler of Berlin. She was a member of St. Paul Wilhelm UCC. Retired after 20 years at Meyersdale Manufacturing Co. Friends received will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. On Wednesday she will be taken to St. Paul- Wilhelm UCC to lie in state from 1 to 2 p.m. the time of service with Pastor Bruce Ashlock officiating. Interment, St. Paul Cemetery.
