  ZIMMERMAN

  Mervin J. "Si" Zimmerman, 85, of Davidsville died May 1, 1995, at home. Born 
  Jan. 17, 1910, in Somerset County. Son of Noah and Harriet (Fry) Zimmerman. 
  Preceded in death by parents; wife, Lois M. Berkey, who died July 14, 1992, and 
  four sisters. Survived by several nieces and nephews, and brothers-in-law and 
  sisters-in-law: Charles Berkey, Grand Rapids, Mich.; Ruth, wife of Charles Keim, 
  Davidsville, and Wilma, wife of Rev. John Eash Jr., Pittsburgh. Member of St. 
  David's Lutheran Church, Davidsville. Owner and operator of Zimmerman's Economy 
  Food Market, Davidsville, from 1940 to 1972. Charter member of the Conemaugh 
  Township Municipal Authority. Also a member of the Masonic Blue Lodge. Family 
  will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at George E. Mason 
  Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville. Viewing also from 10 a.m. until time of service 
  at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. David's Lutheran Church, Rev. Nelson Ilgenfritz. 
  Interment, Maple Spring Cemetery.
