  ZIMMERMAN

  Nellie A. Zimmerman, 87, Jennerstown, died evening of Jan. 1, 1985, at Somerset 
  Community Hospital. Born Aug. 7, 1897, in Jenner Township, Somerset County, 
  daughter of Michael A. and Alice (Muller) Zimmerman. Preceded in death by 
  parents; sisters, May Ankeny, Rosie Bowman and Marjorie Buechley; and brother, 
  William Clyde Zimmerman. Sister of Florence Z. Mock, St. Paul Homes, Greenville; 
  Alice Z. Fritz, Friedens RD 1; Mabel Z. Gray, Sherman, Texas; also numerous 
  nieces and nephews. Member of Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ and Church 
  Guild, Forbes Road Chapter DAR, Laurel Mountain Senior Citizens, Seventh Society 
  of Farm Women, county, state and national retired teachers' associations, and 
  Jenner Grange No. 1661. Retired area school teacher with 44 years service. 
  Friends were received Wednesday evening and will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 
  to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny St., Boswell. Body will be 
  removed to the Mt. Tabor Church, Stoystown RD 1, for viewing from 10 a.m. Friday 
  until time of service at 11 a.m., the Rev. Jeffrey A. Welsh and her nephew, the 
  Rev. C. Franklin Gray, officiating. Interment, Horner-Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
