  NELLIE M. ZIMMERMAN
 
   Nellie M. Zimmerman, 90, of Berlin, died Jan. 8, 1983, at Maple Mountain 
  Manor. She was born Aug. 28, 1892, in Somerset County, a daughter of Irvin and 
  Elizabeth (Hecker) Walter. She was preceded in death by her husband, John D.; 
  three sisters and five brothers.
    She is survived by son, J. D., of North Palm Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren; 
  three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Hazel Grover, Pittsburgh. She was 
  a member of the First Christian Church, Somerset. She was a former school 
  teacher and practical nurse; former member of the D.A.R., the V.F.W. Auxiliary, 
  and the Trinity Chapter of O.E.S.
    Friends were received in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services 
  were conducted with the Rev. Gene Sellers officiating. Interment, St. John's 
  Cemetery.
